Donating & Engraved Bricks

The Historical Society, a totally volunteer organization, works to preserve and share the history of Moorestown. We are grateful to our loyal membership for their continued generous support. We subsist on membership dues, the proceeds from our annual fundraiser, as well as donations from the community at large, including local businesses.

A distinctive way to show your support for the Historical Society is to purchase an engraved brick in our (soon to be constructed) Pathway to History. The Pathway will be a great way to commemorate a special occasion or a special person and serve as a memento for future generations. Connecting the TD Bank parking lot to the Smith-Cadbury grounds, the Pathway will provide convenient access to the Smith-Cadbury Mansion for those who find the steps from High Street difficult to manage. The plan includes a beautiful promenade and an updated restroom on the first floor.

If you’re interested, and we hope you are, email us at with your brick request. An engraved brick comes with a $100 membership donation. Of course we welcome donations of any size!

*This note is to let you know that we have encountered a delay in our plan as our neighbor, TD Bank, no longer agrees to the Pathway leading to their parking lot. But we have other ideas! Once construction is scheduled to start we will contact you regarding the details of your engraved brick, or bricks if you have donated more than once! If you have already provided those details we will remind you of them and give you the opportunity to update them. We’re very excited for the Pathway and we truly appreciate your support!
