Please join our effort to preserve and learn from our town’s history! As a non-profit organization run totally by volunteers, the Society must raise funds each year through membership dues and donations in order to maintain Smith-Cadbury Mansion, our headquarters and unique historic house museum located on High Street. Volunteers at the Society care for the many historical artifacts and documents that tell the stories of our town.
Membership benefits: our award winning quarterly newsletter, a 10% discount in the gift shop, and enrollment in Time Travelers, a reciprocal historical sites program created by the Missouri History Museum. This year at the $100 level, we’ll send you a copy of the newly re-published pamphlet of colonial cookery, “1770 Receipts of Polly Burling Smith.”
We at the Society embrace our responsibility as stewards of Smith-Cadbury and all that it holds in trust for the public. We hope you’ll continue to support our mission to provide opportunities for the community to learn about the history of Moorestown and its neighbors. Please renew your membership today, or join us if you’re not a member yet! Consider adding a gift membership for a friend! We’ll send them a gift note. {We’ll email you for your friend’s address.}
