Join us for an Autumn evening stroll full of History, Mystery & Ghosts! The walking tour is an interactive living history extravaganza featuring local historical figures. Learn about Marquis Lafayette crashing here or how Hessian Soldiers ransacked the town as they retreated from Philadelphia during the American Revolution. Maybe you’ll meet Alice Paul, John Woolman and a host of historical characters along the way! A bunch of new historical characters have been summoned and will return to Moorestown to share its vibrant history. Moorestown was founded in 1682! That’s right: 1682 — so we have a few stories to share! Tours are led by real historians from the Historical Society of Moorestown.
INFORMATION: Please arrive 30 minutes early in order to tour the haunted Smith-Cadbury Mansion and enjoy colonial music and refreshments on the back patio.
