The Declaration of Independence is written in beautiful handwriting by the scribe Timothy Matlack (pictured wearing the red jacket). Learn to write like Timothy so you too can sign the Declaration of Independence!
INK you can’t see:
During the American Revolution, spies, a few who lived in and near Moorestown (like pictured loyalist Jonathan Odell wearing the black jacket), wrote secret communications to the British using invisible ink. Come and make your own invisible ink and try to find secret messages hidden in documents.
Secret codes:
Sometimes important information had to be protected with secret codes. They would need a cipher key to decode it. Make your own code wheel!
