The recipient of the 2023 Sarah Franklin Homer Memorial Scholarship is Priya Panganamamula of 3 Windermere Drive. The award was presented to Ms. Panganamamula at the Moorestown High School senior awards ceremony held at the conclusion of the school year. The award is presented annually by the Historical Society, in memory of long time volunteer and Historical Society Trustee, Sara Franklin Homer, to a graduating Moorestown High School senior who has excelled in the study of history and who plans to major in the subject or one closely related while in college.
At Moorestown High School, Priya’s passion for history and politics led her to becoming heavily involved with leading Model United Nations and Model Congress. She will be attending University of Pittsburgh in the fall to study Political Science and Economics with a minor in History.
