The West End Community Center Oral History Project aims to preserve the legacy of this vital community institution and honor its lasting impact on Moorestown’s history. To continue the work initiated by the Historical Commission’s grant, two dedicated funds have been established.
The West End Community Center Fund will support two key initiatives: indexing historical documents and records related to the WECC, housed at the Second Baptist and AME churches, and installing historical markers at significant sites in Moorestown’s West End.
The Scholar Fund will provide stipends to students assisting with the document indexing process.
